· Serve as main point of contact for customers receiving Express repair work in our dealership service department

  • Responsible for identifying, selling, and documenting services for customers
  • Advise customer on necessary and recommended services, offer additional services & repairs when appropriate
  • Enter estimates and cost on service order and explain costs to customer
  • Schedule follow-up appointments with customer
  • Maintain CSI at or above company standards
  • Document services performed
  • Communicate directly with foreman and technicians regarding the status of service work
  • Continuously learn new information and participate in required training
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area
  • Other duties as assigned

About the Role:
As a Subaru Service Advisor, you will be the critical link between our customers and the service technicians. Your primary goal will be to ensure every customer receives clear, honest, and professional guidance throughout the service process. This position is ideal for someone who brings industry experience, understands the nuances of customer communication, and is comfortable with multi-point inspections, warranty guidelines, and upselling needed services with integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for service customers, managing everything from check-in to final delivery.
  • Clearly communicate vehicle service needs based on technician recommendations and inspection reports.
  • Accurately prepare estimates and explain costs, services, and warranties in a way that builds customer confidence.
  • Proactively recommend and sell additional maintenance and repair services when appropriate.
  • Manage and maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.
  • Coordinate with technicians and parts department to ensure timely service completion.
  • Handle warranty and recall processes in accordance with Subaru and manufacturer policies.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership or high-volume repair facility required.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
  • Familiarity with DealerTrack & Xtime or similar systems preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must pass background and drug screenings.
